What is The Child Training Bible Anyway? Well it looks like this….
It is broken down into sin sections. Areas where we can all struggle. Kids aren’t the only ones but you find your sin on the tabbers which are these
You get a set of three high quality laminated cards and an instruction card. You will also need a pencil, one set of post it flags, a set of sharpie corresponding highlighters a bible (as you can see we choose the ESV) it needs to be the standard pew bible size sold online or at any Christian book store!
So it took me a couple of hours setting it up, but once i did it was a breeze to use! It has worked great! We can modify it to help each one of our kids specifically! It takes all the extra time trying to find the right verses in helping your kids understand what the Bible says. It gives a connection between parent and child as you work through the heart issue! It’s easy to force a child into behaving but if you don’t deal with the heart problem you don’t really fix the problem, you just get a robot. I don’t know about you but i don’t want robots going through the motions of making people happy! I want my children to have a pleasing, right relationship with God!
