HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL here in the Walking by Faith House!

The weather…..

This week we really start to see some cooler temps  . We are trying too eek in our last summery moments . We will dip down into the 60’s later this week

Right now I am….

I am sitting at the kitchen table listening to a Tv show on my phone. I’m about to make myself a cup of tea and take my book up to bed.

Thinking…. 

I may not have been completely ready to start back to school today with the kids but it was good and what was needed for them and for me. I enjoy (mostly this season of life with our family right now. Homeschooling was something I never thought I would do but it has been so good for us and we have grown so much through all of this and its fun to watching the kids eager to learn.

On my reading pile…. 

I’m still reading The same books as last week but we added a Hudson Taylor Biography for morning basket

Still studying through Philippians one but I’m thinking that taking some time away from that to adjust to a new schedule might be necessary. I’m going to take a peak tonight at options and let you know next week what I have decided

Happy Monday everyone. It’s a new week and boy am I HAPY Last week I ended up having 3 medical appointments (the medical issue from December is the Gift that keeps on GIVING!). As of right now I only have one medical appointment this week. I haven’t had a week without a medical appointment since December 8th!

General Cleaning. I need to tackle the pile of clean laundry that has been displaced out of my cloakroom as hubby works on remodeling it. I also need to finish organizing the non- remodel areas in our bathroom.

This week I am going to start on my animal drawing practice. I want to move from cartoon-y animals to animals that look more realistic

Today I just started week 4 of a devotional thread Called Everyday Leadership in my (in)Courage Women’s Devotional Bible. T

This morning’s reading was based in 2 Timothy1:1-5 and it was tasing about Timothy’s Grandma Lois and His Mom Eunice. I was deeply challenged by their examples that despite whatever your family struggles are that living a life of focus and being centered on our faith in Jesus leaves you with an incredible heritage. What a blessing.

Ready to tackle the day- I have been struggling with Mondays and so today I tackled it with a plan and prayer. I didn’t want to battle it with such distraction. And so far it’s working.

Well it is definitely better than this last week. I have some deep cleaning stuff I need to accomplish. Our bathroom counter and putting away my clean laundry are top on the list.

  I’m going to be more proactive in the craft space. I just haven’t made time fore it over the last few weeks and I need to have that space.

Mira Byler is one of my favorite Youtube artists and one of my favorite series she does is how to fill your sketchbook. I find her highly encouraging and my art has gotten SOOO much better since I have started watching her.

Good morning and Happy Monday everyone! I don’t know about the rest of you all but last week was UTS for us! This week is definitely more calm and there is more white space in the calendar this week.

Even though this week still looks like cold gray winter next week we have some days that definitely show that spring is just around the corner! There are even a few days that start with 5!!! I’m so excited

Happy Monday everyone! It’s been a day but it’s been a fun day for me. Hubby create a new workspace in my craft room. so I took today after my morning routine to set everything up.

♥♥The Weather♥♥ 

Today was another crazy snowy day here in upstate NY. We had a number of hours this afternoon that we didn’t see a snow plow for hours and we couldn’t see our road for even longer. It has been a fairly snowy year for us – more so that years in recent past

Monday – 28 and SNOWY
Tuesday –  36 with more snow
Wednesday – 47 SAY WHAT?? HEAT WAVE!!! (Rain)
Thursday –  29 (nevermind)
Friday – 35 it says we can expect a visit from a mysterious glowing orb in the sky!
Saturday –  40 and rain
Sunday –  44 partly sunny

With getting so little sun most of the winter it is so exciting when it shows up even briefly
