Good morning, This was a blog that accidentally got place in the wrong blog from Wednesday so I will re-publish it here in the right blog.
I was hoping to have something great or interesting to talk about today and what I have to say is not great in the slightest but as for interesting I will let you decide.
Monday night my husband came in from work and said something to the effect of “Hey guess who New York state ask to run for government office?” Oh the many choices I had. Out of the billions of people in this world and he wanted me to guess one Oh Boy! So the only logical comment I could return with was “I have no idea,who?” He quickly replied Lindsay Lohan. I couldn’t believe my ears. Why was the only thing I could say. He had no answers. After I have spent much time mulling over this thought I still can’t wrap my brain around it. Porn star, anorexic,bad girl. what is going on. As a parent I am shocked. We as a family really enjoy Miss Lohan in Parent Trap and the other movies she has played in as a beautiful young girl. I am shocked as a parent how this young lady has lost self-respect and dignity. I know a couple of young girls who really like her as an actress the only problem is that they are big fans of little Lindsay and have no idea at this point what kind of girl she really is like. I understand that lives get messed up but it takes a strong person to comeback or at least make an effort, the same kind of strength that it takes to be a good politician (Did i just say good and politician in the same sentence?) Anyway Freedom of expression is the mainstream thought. I am going to make a statement and that my choice how I do it. That’s true but it is up to the rest of us to take that statement and put it through the filters of our convictions and beliefs and common truths that exist (Yes Virginia there is truth)
As for New York state out of the millions of people in this country couldn’t you pick someone who has some form of character ?
