Happy Homemaker Monday-Dec 30.2013

As I look outside my window:: Gray and Blowing Snow!  AGAIN!!

Right now I am::: working on my meal plan for the next month
.
Thinking and pondering:::how much our life has changed in the last year
.
On my bedside table:::notebook

On my tv tonight:::Knight Rider (the original)

Listening to::: our autistic son stand at the table singing acapella Christmas Carols, and worship songs…nearly pitch perfect and all blending together to make one of the most beautiful sounds to this mama’ sears!

On the menu for this
Monday-taco Salad
Tuesday -pizza and other party foods
Wednesday – Potato soup
Thursday – lemon chicken and baked potatoes
Friday –  pizza night
Saturday -Pasta
Sunday -meatloaf with roasted veggies

On my to do list::: I’m in the process of decluttering my entire kitchen…enough Said!
.

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::I have all of Molly’s clothes to finish…it was a Christmas present for bug, but we got the stomach bug and it had to wait!

My simple pleasure::: watching my children grow and change!  I love watching them serve others though their service is rarely taken with a gracious heart!

Lesson learned the past week:::  rest…and let others help.   My mother in law was so great to help me recover my kitchen !

Looking around the house:::everything is pretty good, though I am in the throws of getting my kitchen cupboards back in order

From the camera:::

Prayer List:::friends and family…those who are sick….some who are unsaved

Church family …..some going through hard times and others celebrating blessings

Bible verse, Devotional:::

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,   (ESV)
