Word Filled Wednesday

This picture always reminds me of what I should be. A candle..A light in the darkness!!! We were standing at the White house when i think hubby took this picture. It is gorgeous!

Thought provoking Quote!

This quote is evident in my two toddlers…but how often do I display the lack of Maturity to others…

Definitely something I will be pondering for a while!

“The definition of maturity is the ability to delay pleasure.”

Word Filled Wednesday

So many times as Christians we forget the simple things of our faith (such as Creation) and get so wrapped up in the arguments of faith. I am by no means saying that creation was simple. But All God had to do was speak and it happened. How amazing is that.

The strength, the power and order, the idea, the love ,the care, the perfectness. That is our God!

Word Filled Wednesday

As we traveled across the George Washington Bridge in NYC this past weekend this picture struck me as amazing. There were hundreds of cars maybe even thousands of them along with tractor trailers traveling across this bridge. It was strong enough to with stand the pressure . And yet the God we serve is Soooo much stronger than that bridge. It’s sometimes so hard to fathom the strength of our LORD!

A not so wordless Wednesday!

Oh I wish I had picturs from three weeks ago tomorrow. Matter of fact I wish I could use our regular computer to post the blog entry but alsas I cannot! Why you may ask? Well I’ll tell you, it was because our house was hit by lightning! Matter fof fact if you talk to our two neighbors one might even think that our house was hit in two spots at the same time but of you ask the firefighters they will say one strike and one strike only. They could only find one spot it hit on the house. We are all fine. So much happened that i will not be able to account for it all but know that I and the baby and the two kids are fine and I am still due in November however i think I will be in pain until then. I did take a fall on wet cement when trying to get tornado and Ladybug to safety! The lightning apprently hit a tree in our yard traveled through the ground hit the cement at the base of our swingset and ran back up the leg of the swing set and shot across the yard to our house. Apparently Tornado saw it arc in our house. He was looking in the direction of the outlet that arced in the whole process which sent my two year old into a screaming frenzy and now has hime terrified of lightning storms! So the things that were husrt in the whole ordeal..a fan. our external dryer vent was hit directly and was completely obliterated, our month old phones, one out let our modem on our computer, our CD player in our stereo—but not the rest of the stereo. No enough to claim on our home owner’s insuance but enough to make a dent in our monthly budget that we did not plan for! Anyway all is back to normal and life is good. Until our modem is replaced I will not have oppertunity to post or email as frequently as hubby will have his laptop with him at school.
