Tackle It Tuesday!—A Big FINALE

So As I have promised numerous times over the last few weeks here is the Big TA-DA!

This is what we started out with
And this is what it looks like now! (NO THERE ARE NOT ANY DUPLICATE SHOTS OF BOOKS!) My husband built all the book shelves in there but three…There are twelve short shelves (6 ft high) and there are 8 Tall shelves (8 ft high) And then the three he didn’t build!





And then There was another room that looked much the same but it was transformed into a great play room for our kiddos…Note some patches that need to be repainted after some nicks in the paint and drywall were spotted! There will be A few surprises added to the walls in coming weeks..So stay tuned!



And then there is my craft room that started out looking like this



And finished out looking like this…Please note that this will be remodeled sometime in the coming months!



There is one more room that needs to be taken care of and that is our bedroom…It not all that bad but be looking forward to that shot!…Also note that our house does not normally look like that..It’s just that when rooms get rearranged you have to dump all the stuff someplace because you need to move everything it’s on!

This is where all of the tools ended up! Hubby and I talked about getting me a tool kit instead of having two drawers chock full of miscellaneous tools. Well Here it is and it’s even pink.

It’s so hard to believe that only a few short years ago I found pink to be one of the most disgusting colors on the face of the planet!!…That would be all hubby’s fault he made me more feminine! THANKS DEAR!!!

So my tackles for today are not ones that can easily be taken pictures of….So here they are in form of a list
1. Get caught up on Blog stuff
2. Unpack
3. Finish dishes
4. repack for labor day weekend
5. Get lady bugs next size of clothes out of the attic.
(she is only 2 and going into 4T’s-she has a very long torso so we have problems with mid-drift all the time!)
I will post pictures later of somethings I have accomplished!

Tackle It Tuesday

Wow it has been a really long time but I did want to share with you my “tackle” for today!
So here it is…..


I found this Declutter Calendar Last week. I loved the idea..however The year is half over so there is no possible way I could catch up. So after perusing it for a while I realized I had done a bunch already and I figured about how many day I would have to do just to catch up. Well By the end of August I should be all caught up and that only doing 4 “back” items a day and the item for that specific day! They are simple and short things to do to make your home more beautiful.

(Note: I decided to color in the days that I get finished. It’s fun and it really makes it a visual that I have achieved something!)
