As I look outside my window::DARK,DARK DARK, but if there were sunlight it would giveaway to a landscape of snow measured in feet!   We are up to about two feet and hope onto the hope of a warm up this week!

Right now I am::: sitting at the kitchen table with a lovely view of some roses, my husband got for me!

Thinking and pondering::: thinking about what this day will hold….all four kids are home from school!  It is Presidents’ Day!

On my bedside table::: nothing right now, it’s all paled in my purse!

On my tv tonight:::nothing

Listening to:::water dripping in the sink….to prevent freezing pipes

On the menu for this
Monday- meatball soup
Tuesday – pasta
Wednesday – meatloaf and potatoes
Thursday –  Italian chicken, rice and veggies
Friday –   Pizza night
Saturday -stroganoff
Sunday -balsamic chicken….baked potatoes, veggies (broccoli or corn)

On my to do list:::
1 finish hubby’s valentines day present

2.  Finish bug’s paper doll set!

3.bedroom s organized

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::

German paper-cutting piece for hubby’s office

Crocheted cowbell scarf (with interchangeable flowers…also crocheted)

My simple pleasure::: morning cuddles with munchkins…..days not rushed with getting kids ready for school

Lesson learned the past week::: it’s not a newly learned lesson…just a reminder…I am my husband’s biggest cheerleader

Listening to::: our autistic son stand at the table singing acapella Christmas Carols, and worship songs…nearly pitch perfect and all blending together to make one of the most beautiful sounds to this mama’ sears!

On my to do list::: I’m in the process of decluttering my entire kitchen…enough Said!

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::I have all of Molly’s clothes to finish…it was a Christmas present for bug, but we got the stomach bug and it had to wait!

My simple pleasure::: watching my children grow and change!  I love watching them serve others though their service is rarely taken with a gracious heart!

Lesson learned the past week:::  rest…and let others help.   My mother in law was so great to help me recover my kitchen !

Looking around the house:::everything is pretty good, though I am in the throws of getting my kitchen cupboards back in order

Homemaking:: i’m deep cleaning drawers and cabinets that have become cluttered.  In doing this i’m trying something new by dumping everything into a box.  I can work on the box as i have time!   I can create spaces for things that need a new home.

Bible verse, Devotional:::a thought from our missions conference this past weekend.  We had the assistant camp director that our kids go to and in his Q&A time yesterday morning, he said something that spurred some thoughts that will more than likely be worked through here!   But the general gist was this……we should not be focused on wanting the accolades of men but remember that we need to be focused on that audience of one. When we focus on pleasing God than the others will fall into place.  Then that was reinforced again last evening but another former camp director , now missionary with The Joy Clubs, and he shared that there comes a point where your encouragement comes from Christ, not others!

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating::: i started a granny square blanket last week but canning season isnt over yet!

Homemaking::  this week i will go from a summer themed house to a fall themed one!  And that wreath posted above will make an appearance here!

Aundry to put away in our bedroon and a few bathrooms to touch up and minor vacuuming
