Vacation Is Over!

So Here it is Ladies and Gentleman.
I took this break for a few reasons. I had somethings I really needed to do..home wise. Our basement project which I was really hoping to be done say Sunday will not be done until next week Probably Wednesday-ish photos will be posted!)

Then there were the kids..We started homeschooling Tornado and he has completed his second full week of Pre-K…we do three times a week . I have had to rework my schedule around this new item of joy. Tornado loves it and actually has been sleeping a lot better since we have been giving his brain a work out.

And then finally I have had some problems with wording some post idease i have had for some time..i guess writer’s block you could say….so what better to help with writer;s block is to get away from the problem. I was perhaps to hasty when i said no email or computer for a week. I forgot when i write that that hubby really counts on me to let him know when there is an amil he needs to respond to. So on Wednesday I started using the computer again!. I have been secretly reading all your blogs and catching up!!!

But no writing for me! That meant comments to other blogs or replies to email.. I really needed the clean slate to work with!

So the first post will be..NOT JUST A MOM BLOGGER

Then an excerpt from this will be used to replace my

about me

Section on my sidebar. Mentally i am still working on it so it could be later today or later tomorrow!

Anyway i just wanted to say i missed all of you very much and I hope you can understand my absence if not oh well.

A Rare Day!

Today is a rare day. my hubby has off from work. No he didn’t take off he was given it off. The father of his boss (once hubby’s boss) passed away this last week. Hubby didn’t know him very well. Anyway the shop was closed down for the day and he must go to the funeral this afternoon but other than that he is working in our basement trying to tie up some loose ends!!

Also please pray for the family. He was not a believer and neither is the rest of the family. Not to mention family strains are so hard on the whole family.

Fruit Loops and Cheerios

This was a fun little project that I hoped would occupy the kiddos for a few moments last week so i could do a few things! It was simple thread fruit Loops and cheerios onto yarn to make necklaces. The attention span lasted all of 5 minutes. Lady bug ate her 10 she strung herself and Tornado got bored after about 10 minutes so then I had to sit and help them…So much for getting stuff done right?

My husband Rocks Friday

I have been married for almost 5 1/2 years now. I love being married to my husband. I can’t imagine being married to anyone else. Long before we were married or engaged, or even courting we were best friends. I am not just saying that. I am being sincere. We loved doing everything together!

We were told then that we would grow to love each other more and more as the years passed, and we believed everyone who told us that but in our finite minds we had no idea how that could be possible! Well I can tell you today that I love my husband more than I thought could be possible. It makes me wonder what the next thirty years hold!

I can also tell you that life without my husband would be incredibly boring! He is such a joy…and it brings even more joy to my heart to hear our children giggle as they pay with their daddy. I truly have an amazing man. And I think that this carnival is amazing because it gets the focus off of ourselves and on to our spouse who God Has given to us!!!!
