In other Words

“Still, accepting God’s existence is one thing; honoring his command is another matter entirely, especially if we’re required to go back when we’d rather go forward.”

~Liz Curtis Higgs
from Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible~

I think personally this has hit hard in our family as of late!

With hubby now being ordained for almost a year, our church closing and no longer being in ministry and not being able to get a church it is hard to understand why we cannot find a church right now. We know God has called us into ministry however before He ever did that He called us to be faithful servants. that’s either faithful with a l lot (being the pastor of a church) or with a little (going to church and living by example. Witnessing and so forth) Basically living out my faith instead of ignoring it so to speak! This has been hard for both hubby and I. I think it would have been easier for us to not get “lost” if our church had not closed but That IS what happened and it is our responsibility to trust God and start to embark on a new life! Whether we like God’s timing or Not!

MOVIE REVIEW-MARTIAN CHILD

What a great movie. It is based on a true story and follows the story of a Single guy who wants to adopt a child.

It was something his deceased wife wanted to do. She was adopted herself. The guy is David and he is a well known author. He writes Science fiction. The kid…Dennis believes he is a Martian. It’s PG and I’m not even sure why. No swearing …no violence. It was a great Stars John Cusack and Joan Cusack.

It’s a great family movie! I highly HIGHLY recommend it!
